A lot. Don't ask this question. It worries me and makes me think you're planning something bad. Just don't drink too much. And don't drive, whatever you do. Don't let someone pour booze down your throat like some stupid frat party. The liver metabolizes about one beer per hour, one shot, or one wine cooler per hour, so if you drink a LOT you could get alcohol poisoning. Thats a bad place to be.

Its depends on what kind of alcohol you consume or can take.
I may be a teen but i have studied alcohol types and i heard a myth that a man in Texas consumed 122 Rums!
he was taken to the hospital and was diagnosed with liver posioning.
    Austin the Wise has spoken.
PS:For gods sake please don't try it my step grandfather died from the bottle.

For the record, only degenerate alcoholics end up having problems with liver disease. My uncle is a chronic alcoholic, a terrible one, and he outlived his wife and sister, who both lived clean lives. He could go on much longer. My grandfather was a chronic smoker and alcoholic, he's outlived his wife by 10 years, as well as my grandmother and other grandfather, and is still going strong. Smoke and drink as much as you want, you'll probably live longer than the health food freaks, and have a better life!

Technically the first drink will cause alcohol poisoning. The effect of being drunk is in reality an effect of poisoning. Unlike drinking Drain-O the effect is desired and in most instances pleasureable.

Most cases of alcohol poisoning are because of an excessive initial intake of alcohol or by the efforts of others to make you drink more. Your body will eventually say no more to the alcohol by causing you to go unconscious. When your comatose you can't take in any more alcohol.

As long as you are not bonging entire bottles of high proof alcohol or having your friends force feed you drinks, your chances of getting poisoned are slim.

But I would go to say that 30 to 40 drinks(beers, shots, glasses of wine) will cause major problems.
